KERRANG THE SOUND OF 2025: “Industrial noise pop’ that’s both visceral and sensual, like finding true romance bumping bodies at 6am in a Berlin basement nightclub.”

METAL HAMMER: “Taking their cues as much from Lady Gaga as they do Nine Inch Nails, Tayne marry abrasive electronic beats and synths with a finely honed sense of melody, producing a tight, taut album that is greater than the sum of its parts.”

HOT PRESS (IRE) HOT FOR 25: “The missing link between Gaga and Nine Inch Nails with a soupcon of Depeche Mode thrown in for very good measure, it fair rattles the bassbins.”

LEGACY (DE): “Fans of experimental dark music will get their money's worth just as much as those of danceable industrial stompers, crude anti-pop numbers and uncomfortable noise rock.”

Dublin-born, London-based Tayne drop their highly anticipated debut album Love today via MNRK Heavy / Inside Job. A fearless fusion of metal, industrial, shoegaze and pop, Love is an electrifying sonic journey that pushes the boundaries of the genre. With blistering intensity, the album confronts the complex, often chaotic nature of love, unraveling its contradictions and the emotional conflicts that arise in its pursuit. It's an audacious exploration of what love really means, raw, unfiltered and unapologetically real.

“The contrast [of genres] is far more interesting to me,” Tayne frontman Matt Sutton explains. “I still love extreme metal and heavy bands, but I think there's something a little bit more exciting when you're trying to create something that isn’t what everyone else is doing.”

Love showcases Tayne at their boldest, blending ferocious energy with genre defying exploration. The album includes 'Fear', anthemic enough for stadiums, featuring a blistering guest appearance from Rolo Tomassi’s James Spence; 'In This Trend', an industrial dancefloor monster that could easily tear through the walls of Berghain; and 'Wasted', a brutal, mechanical explosion channelling the raw power of Ministry and Fear Factory, while struggling to find peace in the chaos.

“'Wasted' is all about lust,” explains Matt. “It’s about getting swept up in those intense feelings, confusing them for something more meaningful, and then stripping it all away to expose the mess it leaves behind.”

Love is co-produced by Tayne & longtime collaborator Wayne Adams (Green Lung, Pet Brick), one of a number of collaborations with artists as diverse as Jesu, Cage Fight, Rolo Tomassi, Mastiff, Katie Kim & Poisonous Birds with Tayne supporting the likes of HEALTH, Author & Punisher and The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato.

Tayne have been announced for 2000 Trees & ArcTanGent festivals alongside fellow countrymen Kneecap, Taking Back Sunday, Rolo Tomassi, The Melvins, Between The Buried And Me, The Fall of Troy & more.
