Genre-defying sister duo ALT BLK ERA have revealed a lyric video for 'Misfits : LUNAR', taken from their recently released debut EP Freak Show. Nyrobi and Chaya don’t believe in being restricted in their art, expressing the complexities of human nature with 'SOLAR & LUNAR' versions of their singles.

The lyric video follows a busy summer for the band, who have made debut appearances at Bearded Theory, Dot To Dot Festival, Glastonbury (Shangri-La Truth Stage), Boomtown and Reading & Leeds Festival, where they headlined the BBC Introducing stage.

The band comment:

"This is a message for the baby MISFITS who might be struggling to find their place in the world. We want them to know they are loved and that they are perfect as they are. It's the message we wish we had, when we were growing up."

ALT BLK ERA are so much more than two sisters making music: they are two alternative people who understand what it feels like to live life outside of the edge of social norms. The girls want to build safe spaces and a community for alts and their allies, which is reflected in the diversity of their following.

The alternative scene has given ALT BLK ERA the space to express themselves - allowing them to bring elements from all of their musical loves and influences, where they can push and merge musical boundaries.

ALT BLK ERA will support Lord Of The Lost in London later this month, followed by a hometown headline show in Nottingham.
