The band comment on the new single:

"'Unknown' is a bittersweet lament about losing a friend, a relationship ending, or growing apart from someone close to you. Reminiscing and wondering if they are still out there, somewhere, and what might've been if things were different - all part of the great unknown."

Tijuana Bibles will celebrate the release of their new album with a special headline show, set to take place on 16th December at Glasgow's King Tut's.

Uproarious, hellacious, all-killer hooks and chaotic dissonance. Tijuana Bibles come careering from the studio with reckless abandon and an immersive new agenda.

The quartet's hotly-anticipated new material is propulsive, volatile and unencumbered by any expectation of what fans may have come to expect.

Twelve warped hymns for the disenchanted generation. Themes of frustration, anxiety and isolation find escape in the dark underbelly of a desolate city. Vulnerable inner moments transform, rewild, taking aim at the political glitterati as melodies violently explode into the abyss. New music for the new world… This is the sound of modern dystopia.

Tipped by Jack Saunders as a Next Wave on BBC Radio 1’s Indie Show, Tijuana Bibles have captivated global airwaves, with support from KEXP (US), KCRW (US), and Mexico’s biggest rock radio station IBERO 90.9, who included their single 'Pariah' in their Top 5 songs of the year.

Anyone that has bore witness to their live shows will attest that Tijuana Bibles' unique alchemy and charisma translates perfectly from the studio into the realm of live performance.

Packing out basement venues from Paris to Poznań, guerrilla gigs on the streets of their travels have punctuated huge festival appearances at Reading & LeedsIsle Of Wight Festival, Spain’s Kutxa Kultur, Germany’s Reeperbahn and Austin, Texas’ SXSW

Acclaimed singles 'Human Touch' and 'Stateless' lit the fuse on Tijuana Bibles' debut album - the anthemic new single 'The Wave' is about to launch it into the stratosphere.

Tijuana Bibles are:

Tony Costello - vocals
Danny Costello - bass
James Brannigan - guitar
Mikey Dornan - drums
