UK thrash / hardcore outfit Cage Fight stream protest video 'Guillotine' ahead of Jubilee

UK tours with Sepultura and Cro-Mags; Radar, Uprising and Bloodstock fests announced

Self-titled album out now via Candlelight Records

Hardcore / thrash / crossover band, Cage Fight, have released a video for protest song 'Guillotine', highlighting scandals and atrocities committed by the British monarchy, ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The track is taken from their debut album, Cage Fight, out now on the Candlelight label.

The band comment: "June 2022: A Britain where we have increased child poverty, citizens whilst predominantly working are forced to rely food banks and families choosing whether to eat or heat. In these times of record levels of inequality a decision has been made to celebrate an outdated institution that explicitly represents the wealth and class divide in this country. This is our protest.
Happy Jubilee."

One of the most furious hardcore records to emerge from the UK in years, the anger and frustration of Cage Fight’s self-titled debut album is the perfect catharsis for our times.

The album’s artwork – a grabbing hand with the Cage Fight logo tattooed on the palm - visually portrays the violent rage at the core of the band’s music. Legitimately tattooed by vocalist Rachel Aspe, a tattoo artist by trade, the process of creating the image is as impactful as the final artwork itself.
