RADAR Festival co-organiser Joe James comments: "How many superlatives can you throw into a quote when you've booked one of your favourite bands?! We probably need quite a few to prefix our excitement in announcing that Periphery are to headline RADAR Festival 2023!

"It is fair to say that they are one of the biggest and most interesting bands that are pushing our genre forward and they don't play many UK festivals!

"We hope that festival lovers see that our first line-up drop is a statement of intent for 2023, with returning favourites and some awesome up-and-coming acts to discover.
RADAR 2023 is honestly going to blow you away.

RADAR is excited to announce nominations in two categories at the UK Festival Awards 2022. Joe continues:

"It's been quite a week. As well as our first line-up announcement, RADAR has been shortlisted at the UK Festival Awards 2022 for 'Best New Festival' and 'Grassroots Festival Award' which is lovely recognition for the festival, our customers and everyone who has performed or worked at the events. We are so proud of the vibrant, contemporary event we created and it's wonderful to be recognised for that.

RADAR Festival has moved to a new home for 2023:

"RADAR 2023 is a big step up for us. We're booking a huge lineup and have some big ideas for our new venue, The BEC Arena in Manchester. We are super excited to release more information about our crazy plans for the site, so keep an eye on our socials for that and further line-up drops!"

Following the sell-out success of RADAR 2022, the festival's second ever edition (featuring Leprous, Haken, Dirty Loops' debut UK performance and many more), RADAR 2023 is moving from Guildford's Corner House to Manchester's BEC Arena and will boast an internationally acclaimed 42-band bill.

RADAR Festival 2023 will be held 28-30th July.

Early bird tickets are now sold out. Weekend tickets are £133.75, and you can purchase here: https://bit.ly/RDR2023

No genre boundaries, welcome to all, RADAR Festival was launched in 2019 to acclaim, with performances from Animals As Leaders, Agent Fresco, Rolo Tomassi, among others. Following the COVID hiatus, RADAR Festival 2022 expanded to three days with triumphant appearances from Leprous, Haken, Dirty Loops, Plini, Conjurer, Soen and more.
