The band comment: "'Becoming Dirt' marks the beginning of a fresh start, a fresh appearance and solid foundation for what is to come. "
Produced by Connor Sweeney of highly respected local scenemates Loathe, STARVED were formed in Newcastle from the ashes of Starve To Survive, having evolved their sound of darkened aggression and haunting atmosphere.
The band continue: "We felt that Starve to Survive had outgrown its own appearance. We wanted the new label STARVED to have the ability to branch out into any direction that we choose. A change was necessary. We captured all of the elements generated from Starve to Survive and used it as an infrastructure to build upon."
The band have also announced the following dates:
28/02 - Ivory Blacks, GLASGOW w/ Gassed Up
29/02 - Satan’s Hollow, MANCHESTER w/ GroundCulture + Black Coast
01/03 - The Key Club, LEEDS w/ GroundCulture + Black Coast
02/03 - The Jacaranda Club, LIVERPOOL w/ GroundCulture + Black Coast
22/03 - Think Tank?, NEWCASTLE w/ InVisions
Seasoned players in the Northern UK metal scene, STARVED's members have played shows with the likes of Loathe, Black Tongue, Crystal Lake, Traitors and more.
With new music more touring planned for 2020, STARVED promise to be a major force to be reckoned with in UK metal and hardcore.
