Taken from their 2013 album 4:45AM, 'Shallow and Daft' is from the band's Live from Estudio del Sur sessions, and a new take on the original track. As the band comment: "We wanted to be deliberately ironic and the original version had a notoriously '80s pop sound. When we decided to release this series of videos we thought we could make it more current with a modern, fresher sound. Additionally, we wanted to include a feminine touch so we invited the talented singer Catalina Blanco from the rock band Tephiret.” However, the same message has been kept - “It's a song with a strong criticism to the logic behind the mass entertainment industry.”

A shining example of prog rock's universal reach, the Chilean band, formed more than 15 years ago, have a long and illustrious history; current album Hawaii is just the next step in this band's highly impressive journey, garnering significant acclaim. Previously nominated in the Italian Prog Awards, the band are the only South American group to be invited to France's Crescendo Festival de Rock Progressif. Hawaii is Aisles' fourth studio album, a monumental, immersive, beautiful double-disc journey, reminiscent of CamelYesRushGenesisMarillion and more.
