Check out the video for the band's latest single 'Golden Cufflinks', which was produced and directed by vocalist Mikee W Goodman, here: https://youtu.be/5gSYDI2XRDI
Of the tour, Mikee W Goodman states “It's so great how well received our album has been so far! After touring USA and Europe it's a huge buzz to be able to come back and headline UK again. Even more exciting as were going to play so many of the new album songs at the shows!!"
The Future In Whose Eyes? is the band's first full-length release since 2006's Death Of A Dead Day and features the first ever guest vocalist on a SikTh album: Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo joins Mikee W Goodman on 'Cracks Of Light', following the band's support slot on Periphery's US tour in 2016 . “They’re really nice people, everyone on that US tour felt it was the best one they’d been on,” Mikee explains. “We actually got him down to R&R Studios in Uxbridge where we made the album. I really like Periphery and especially love Spencer’s voice, he’s not your usual djent singer, and he’s very much a spiritual man. He knows his and mind well and so we nailed the song really quicky”.
Of the new record Dan Weller, SikTh’s guitarist and producer, says:
"Ever since SikTh was formed way back at the turn of the century we've tried to self improve as musicians and as song writers. We take our music very seriously. This record feels like the one we've always wanted to make. We spent over a year writing it and pushed ourselves extremely hard - sometimes too hard. Opacities was the rebirth of SikTh but 'The Future...' is our statement - I want this album to define us. I don't care how over ambitious it sounds - we want this record to be heard by every metal fan on the planet."
The Future In Whose Eyes? is out now on deluxe 12" hardbook, CD, gatefold 180g heavy weight vinyl and digital download, with 'Vivid' and 'Golden Cufflinks' available as instant downloads. Purchase the record here: http://found.ee/The_Future_In_Whose_Eyes
